Youth Praise Ministries is a faith-driven organization dedicated to empowering youth and young adults in Baltimore, providing them with a sense of belonging and a purpose greater than themselves. Founded by Byron Stokes III and Jailan Dennis, dedicated to fostering authentic relationships, empowering spiritual growth, and serving our community with love and compassion.

We are a vibrant community rooted in faith, believing that worship extends beyond prayer—it is reflected in everything we do. Guided by the Holy Scriptures, life’s ultimate guidebook, we strive to make a meaningful impact through worship, outreach, and service.

Youth Praise Ministries was officially formed on January 17, 2021, by a group of passionate young men and women in Baltimore. Since then, we have grown into a movement of faith and community action.

2022: Hosted our first community outreach event, the Couples Prayer Brunch, where 15–20 young couples gathered for fellowship and spiritual growth.
Expanded Outreach: Launched a program to support senior citizens and secured our first partnership with Ray of Hope Baptist Church (Baltimore).
Community Recognition: Honored by the Baltimore Ravens for outstanding community engagement.
2023: Applied for Articles of Incorporation on July 31 and became a legal entity as Youth Praise Ministries Inc.on August 15, 2023. Our elected trustees—Devan Carey, Byron Stokes III, Kim Dixon, and Charles Callaway—continue to lead our mission.
Established Presence: Secured a small office space at 4808 Liberty Heights Ave for ministry operations.
2024: Gathered food items to assistant those in need (4 event), Hosted our first thanksgiving Outreach program, Partnered with Faithfully Gifted Hearts Inc. for there Christmas distribution.

Though our story is still unfolding, our commitment remains unwavering: to actively serve Baltimore’s communities, spread the gospel, and inspire the next generation in faith.

A Message to the Young Generation

Young people, God has a calling on your life. He has placed people around you to guide, support, and uplift you. But above all, He is with you. All you need to do is believe in Him—believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who rose from the dead to cleanse you from your sins. Surrender your life to Him, and know this: God will never leave you nor forsake you. Life will bring trials, challenges, and storms—but with Jesus in your corner, you are never alone. When the road ahead seems uncertain, call on Him—He will lead you, strengthen you, and carry you through.

To those who may not yet know Christ, to those striving for success, and to those facing struggles—God will make a way where there seems to be no way. He will open doors that no one can shut and close doors that no one can open.Trust Him, lean on Him, and believe that He will come through for you.

Stay strong in faith, and never forget: With God, all things are possible.
