Byron Stokes III, an 18-year-old native of Baltimore, MD, has passionately devoted himself to supporting his community. Currently enrolled in school, Byron has taken significant steps to engage youth and young adults in spiritual growth and community service. He has successfully recruited young people to join him in bringing others to church services, holding virtual worship sessions, and volunteering to give back to their communities.

Byron founded Youth Praise Ministries with a clear mission: to foster authentic relationships, empowering spiritual growth, and serving the community with love and compassion. Alongside his dedicated Youth Praise team, Byron is committed to helping men, women, boys, and girls find their path to the Lord, doing everything possible to guide them toward faith and spiritual fulfillment.

Growing up, my great-grandmother, Mary Jamison, would take me to Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church every Sunday. We were always present at every church event, and from a young age, I found joy in assisting those in need and volunteering wherever I could. Over a decade ago, a video of me preaching and singing a song called "God Sent Me" was shared on YouTube. I believe that God truly did send me on this path of ministry to help, support, and give to others in every way I can.

Though I am young, I hold firmly to the belief that all things are possible through Christ Jesus. This belief led me to start Youth Praise Ministries, driven by the vision that this ministry could grow and make a meaningful impact in our community. After completing my first sermon virtually, I fully opened Youth Praise ministries on April 3, 2022.

While Youth Praise is my focus, I still have a church home at Ray of Hope Baptist Church, where I actively participate in several ministries and strive to be of service at every event the church hosts. My commitment to hard work, helping others, and serving with a caring heart is unwavering. Youth Praise is here to support anyone in need, embodying the love and care that we are called to show.
